Is AppsFlyer Growth Plan enough for attributions, or do you need ROI360?
A short explanation of when AppsFlyer's Growth plan is enough and when ROI360 cost reporting becomes useful.

AppsFlyer Growth vs ROI360: Do You Need Enterprise?

For now, the AppsFlyer Growth tier should be enough for the core attribution and revenue data we need.

AppsFlyer can attribute installs, trials, subscriptions, purchases, and revenue back to channels like Meta, assuming the app events and subscription tracking are implemented correctly. This means we should still be able to understand which Meta campaigns are driving users and revenue.

The main difference with ROI360 is cost reporting.

ROI360 automatically imports ad spend from Meta and other supported ad networks. Without it, ROAS calculations inside AppsFlyer are more limited and may require manual cost imports or external reporting.

It is still possible to export attribution and revenue data from AppsFlyer and combine it with spend data from Meta in Excel, Google Sheets, or any other BI tool. From there, we can manually calculate metrics such as:

  • ROAS: revenue divided by ad spend
  • CAC: ad spend divided by paying customers
  • CPA: ad spend divided by trials, installs, or another target action
  • LTV:CAC ratio
  • Payback period

So we do not necessarily need the Enterprise plan from day one. The Growth tier should work fine initially, as long as attribution and revenue events are set up properly.

ROI360 becomes more valuable later if we are running multiple paid channels, spending at a higher level, or need AppsFlyer to become the single source of truth for spend, ROAS, CAC, and campaign profitability.

Recommendation

Start with AppsFlyer Growth. Use AppsFlyer for attribution and revenue tracking, then combine exported AppsFlyer data with Meta spend data manually in a spreadsheet or BI tool.

Upgrade to Enterprise with ROI360 only once manual reporting becomes too time-consuming or ad spend reaches a level where automated cost reporting would clearly justify the additional cost.
